Di-loG Test Equipment, in conjunction with Seaward Electronic are about to launch the Seaward Power Plus 1557 (363A912) Fixed Installation Tester with built in certificates software. The Power Plus is the only Multifunction Tester in the world with an intergrated PDA which will fill out your test certificates.  All this means is you do not have to Purchase and carry anything else but your tester, what could be better?

Traditional methods of inspection and testing require a multi-function installation tester and some additional means of recording inspection and test results. This can be a pad and paper or a PDA device running some appropriate software. Why purchase a tester and a PDA? Why carry around a tester and a PDA? A replica of the inspection and test certificate is held directly on the PowerPlus 1557 allowing the user to record test and inspection data in the field. At the end of the day, tester can be synchronised with the accompanying PC software.

With accompanying PowerPlus PC software, the 1557 transfers 17th edition certificate information to and from your PC via Bluetooth. So you upload a certificate, carry out the required test and inspection, then download to PowerPlus PC for record traceability and print directly onto pre-printed NICEIC, ECA, ECA SELECT or NAPIT stationary. When the time comes to retest, the certificate data can simply be transferred back to the tester. And, because you can add templates as new certificates emerge, the 1557 is future-proof.
